i have my cockatoo on zupreem veggies and he poops colors is that healthy

More information would be helpful. Are his poops normal and what colors are your bird pooping? Is he acting normal otherwise?

The veggie zupreem is artificially colored and so will transfer unnatural colors to the feces. It makes it hard to truly tell what is happening in the poop department!

Have you tried the Natural or Nuts version?

I personally would avoid any food that is artificially colored and/or contains menadione (synthetic vitamin K). While menadione is considered nontoxic at the low levels found in pet foods, I would rather not have my pets exposed to it daily in their diets over the course of 10+, 30+ years.

When I had Elvis on veggie zupreem I never noticed any colors in his poop..(and I'm a poop checker)..but every bird is different. Now he gets a mix of Harrisons and Roudy Bush. I was lucky, the transition was fairly easy. The more I learned, the more I stayed away from any colored pellet. It would be helpful if you maybe take a pic of the poop...

I fed my birds Zupreme Veggies and switched to the naturals because of the colors of the poop.
