Wood Massacre!

My 'toos have nearly destroyed all the wooden toys I have gotten them.

Moby destroyed this toy in 3 days(Bokka has taken apart 1/2 of his):

Bokka and Moby have destroyed this toy by now:

The only toy that really remains (but has some considerable chunks taken out of it) is this toy:

Opa has DESTROYED his apple! And its been less than a week! I am SOOO happy for him. He never chews wood and he isnt that much of a destructive bird. But he destroyed this toy. Only think left on it is maybe a couple wood toys and the remainder of the bells and the base.

All in all, I think their beaks are well satisfied. Time to make another order!

Its not as horrendous as Bokka's and Moby's, but for Opa this is a lot. Im so happy.

I make my own toys...I buy leather, rope, and toy parts from bird stores online and just make my own stuff. It's much cheaper then spending 30 or so dollars on pre-made toys. plus i can easily reuse the ropes and leather laces.
When the bird shows come to town I do splurge and buy some premade toys, but I look for ones I can reuse or refill. Dom is really destructive, which is great but can be hard on the wallet.
Jamie is not as destructive, and I've bought him a bunch of really nice premade toys that last him months.
