As promised, I've got pictures of the bird area/My Nest as I call it
I recently purchased my home this summer, and I'm SO glad that I finally have the liberty to set things up the way I want! Once the basement was finished, I was a bit at a loss of how I wanted to set it up. I'd wanted to add a bathroom down here, but just ran out of time (and funds) to get it completed and decided it could be a project for a later date. So, with that project on hold, it was time to get the area set up for the birds!
Before- The birds just had their cages, and nothing else:
Work in process, marking the spots on the ceiling for the GaG net (and Remy, who refused to go back in his cage
Our (incredibly jealous) project supervisor, who needed HOURS of snuggling, a Pup Cup from DQ, AND a new toy to compensate for what the birds got:
Getting stuff all hung up!:
My view this morning from my desk, which makes my heart SO glad:
Now I have mountains of cleaning to do, I pulled out a bunch of old foraging toys that I need to re-string with chain and replace the screws on (they rusted in storage!), but I will be hanging them on the various playgyms, and making a few skewer toys as well! It's still a work in progress for sure, but I"m so proud of what we've got set up so far!
