Life is a gift:)
Please join me in Congratulating Chandra (Webchirp) as our 51st Avenue Spotlight Award Winner!
Here is what Sylvia had to say about Chandra:
"After much reflection over the past month, the same person keeps coming to mind. I nominate Chandra (Webchirp), the Conure Queen, for her relentless compassion, determination and dedication to the health and well-being of all feathered friends, particularly the less fortunate ones.
Chandra has demonstrated an incessant commitment to the health and welfare of fids in need, figuring prominently on Rehome Highway and rescue missions through her collaborative efforts with other passionate A.A. neighbors in advocating for these needy fids to have safe, healthy and loving homes, no matter where they come from, and in some cases, planning long distance road trips. These efforts have resulted in many feathered friends landing in safe, healthy and loving nests right here on A.A., including her own.
Chandra has transformed a large portion of her home into a stimulating birdie paradise, where her fids have all that they require to meet their health, social and developmental needs. Her dedication to the health and happiness of her fabies is astounding.
I have found Chandra to be a very approachable neighbor, who engages in open communication, is always supportive, always seeking the positive side of difficult situations, never judging others (no matter what section of the A.A. neighborhood they are from); always acknowledging and respectful of other opinions, and always giving the benefit of the doubt. Chandra, never lose sight of your idealistic beliefs and goals. Congratulations on a well-deserved Award".
Congratulations, Chandra!
