I have one particular window that I apparently need to cover because one particular bird (Kimchi :meh: ) has decided today suddenly, it’s obviously an open window. Just this afternoon. No idea why.

What can I use that won’t diffuse the sunlight too much? It’s one of the primary light windows in a house with not enough light.

There are blinds you can get that you can see through.

Idk if you can see this well or not  but I have sheer curtains over my patio doors for this reason :)

Left side has the curtains, right side doesn't right now because Ripley was chewing them :meh:

I tape streamers to my windows. It's cheap, I can see around them, and they're easy to adjust if need be. I leave gaps of 5-7" between (depending on the window.)
It cut my "window bumps" down by 100% (both by my indoor birds, and wild outdoor birds, with the exception of one particularly stupid outdoor bird who was thankfully fine and flew away.)

I used to use old school horizontal blinds for this reason. I would leave them open so the light could get in but it was apparent to the birds that they couldn’t fly through the little spaces.
