no one wants to waste time doing the boring tree taking down ceremony
MIL gave up with her gentle suggestions
FL cage sitting there and sitting there and sitting there.....till we carry it out to the cottage....someday....some month.....definitely by thanksgiving....
just another thing for MIL to "gossip about to her friends" you know that Saroj..well she has all those birds, a couple of spoiled cats and a fully decorated Christmas tree in her front room..."
I am so happy I am not the only one with a Christmas tree still up! We had three trees this year. I put away the two big ones, but I can't bring myself to put away my little one.
I have some of that green branch looking garland up downstairs in the family room since Christmas of 09. As well as some snow globes. Sure made decorating down there easy this last Christmas.
