Yes, it was raining lizards last January. You are absoulely correct; when the temperature drops to below 50 as it did last winter, the reptilian lizards became immobile and dropped from their homes in palm trees. I must have had 50 lizards and then the vultures arrived. It was not a pretty sight. This guy grew this much since the winter. He'll be doubly big next year. Had several 5 footers. Lizards are mostly herivores. I have to really watch their tails as they whip them, Could kill my pets in a second, that is why I spent a fortune on the special outdoor cages and the protective metal sheeting for the bottom of the indoor aviary.
