Why our pets hate Halloween

Sheba is So glad I don't get into dressing her up!

a Coat when it's cold is all I want and I get picked on by the ole' man for that !

I never did see the point in "dressing" a dog up though LOL

don't they all look so fed up? Why do we put them through this?
it is not as prevelant in Britain so they are let off the hook!
What I hate is the loud noises of the fireworks and the bangs that scare my pets witless.

Cute!!! My favorite is the Skunk!!! But the spaghetti & meatballs, Chiquita Bananas & the three headed harry potter dog were also GREAT!!!!!!

That bee puppy was PRECIOUS! He's like the size of a marshmallow in somoene's hot cocoa.

I used to dress my dog up as Superman when I was a kid. He HATED it!! He would just stand there with this incredibly sad look on his face. He wouldn't even hold his head up straight. It was so sad, we would just take pictures and then quickly relieve him of his costumed duties..

Just depends on the dog.... I never really thought dressing up dogs was nice except against cold until I got Gwen. I quickly discovered that whatever else she had been through, she had been taught to love clothes! No lie, really. It started with a sweater (she gets freezing cold very easily, with as little fur as she has), which she not only graciously stuck her neck through, but lifted each leg in turn. All I have to do is hold open the neck and she does the rest!

And not only for sweaters- she loves the "sun hat" her grandmother gave her! Rather strange, but she has converted this family. She gets to be a lobster for Halloween.

LOVE the bananas and spaghetti and meatballs! LOL

Pepper is going to be the horse for the headless horseman. It's got a little saddle for his back and a stuffed guy on it holding a pumpkin for his head. The best part is...it becomes a toy when his duties of greeting the trick-or-treaters are through!
