Thank you everyone. I have read each and every reply with a fresh tear in my eye each time.
Today I went out and bought seven native plants, two are endangered and rare, so I will pick one to plant where I have laid Olea to rest.
I worked out how she got in to the walkway from her aviary. And I am considering re-homing the two Kakariki youngsters I still have as I think they are too small to be out there and I fear they will get out too. The aviaries aren't made for little cheeky parakeets and I had to learn that the worst way *sigh*
