Why does my cockatiel sleep in my hair

My lutino cockatiel, Riley puts his head in my hair and sleeps there when he's on my shoulder. Does anyone else's cockatiel do this? Why does mine do this? It's pretty cute though!

Most birds like our hair.. Your bird probably thinks you have weird feathers.. I know lots who preen hair and snuggle into it. They do it because it's soft, and close to our body so warm.. and probably because it's comfortable. lol

Riley is my first bird I've ever owned and I'm learning and I do not regret getting him. I love him so much, and I think birds are the best pets you could have!

My GCCs are picky about hair. They don't bother with mine but dive right into my niece's. I wonder if it is because she uses fruit fragranced shampoo?
