Interesting cat behaviors you may have wondered about:
CatStuff: Why does a cat do that?
Very informative Marie! I always have this problem. I am severely allergic to cats and try and stay clear. I do love them though. Why does a cat go to the visitor who doesn't like cats?
When one cat is threatening another, it stares boldly, sometimes hisses, and frequently moves in toward the other cat. Usually, the person who doesn't like cats avoids looking at it, doesn't talk to it, and sits quietly, hoping to be ignored by the cat. The cat, therefore, sees the person's behavior as "cat-friendly" and practically inviting.
I found that interesting as well, Judy. We have a few cat allergic friends who when thy come over Big Mike always seeks them out wanting to sit on their laps. Now we know why.
That all is so interesting!!! great info!
Awesome. I always wondered why my baby girl chattered at birds. I had a feeling she was just mad at the window for being in the way.
This is all very good and to the point information for cat owners. Good find.
