Budgie woman here. English all the way. Budgie females are boss. Makes put up with them. They are chatty and some talk well. Downside is a short life span of 8 to 10 years.

I would like to add, I would love to see a setup for a pair of finches that is 7ft by 3 ft. That´s a good space.

you should try king quails they can live up to 6-9 years and they lay eggs that you can eat and here just so cute!
