Where can I find bird safe bendable twigs for weaving?

It's not? I could have sworn the description said seagrass rope? If you have something better I'd be happy to purchase!

I know! At first I cut them too short. So then I tried longer. Now that I see he's using them I'll go for more of a happy medium

He's finally really taking to these non straw weaveables! This is his newest creation


This is is his material station. For now I'm still giving him the option of straws (plastic and paper) I will slowly stop giving straws completely. I'm so happy! Thanks again to everyone!!!

I think he's weaning himself off of the straws naturally. Yesterday he used all of the tri poly rope and left the straws where they were. I'm so happy! I felt so guilty about using all those straws

@CrazyBirdChick I think I saw in another post that you were looking for more, and while CABN doesnt have the spool anymore, theres still 30 feet of it left: 3/16" Tri-Paper Rope (by the foot)
