Just for reference, most packages from the US to Canada that are 2 lbs or less can be shipped for about $16 USD

Agreed...shipping from US to Canada isn't so bad if the weight of the box is lower. Even my shipping to the US with Canada Post is fairly reasonable under 2lbs
