what kind of toys do budgies like?

I make Alices perches out of pieces of paper bark branch, and she spends the first couple of days pulling every tiny bit of paper off. She also loves shredding broccoli branches...not so much eating, just wrecking it.

My budgies all have a special love for different toys. Johnny loves the plastic 'olympic rings' which she climbs into and loops in and out. Willis loves the leather toys with beads. He spends hours undoing the knots and then watches the beads drop to the floor or the cage. Ava loves anything hanging she can drag from one side of the cage to the other. Bob likes ladders. But they all LOVE wood. The love to shread it and leave a dirty great big mess!

It will pay to go to dollar stores and walk slowly through youd be suprised what you can find for small birds
in the notion department look for traveling kits some have thread on small plastic spools grab as many as you see,,lol they make great foot toys thread beads in between

now kitchen look for small spoons mesuring spoons any thing small then kids department any small solid toy
heck bet you can find plenty of things to make toys with
how about a baby shoe cloth use what god gave you your head ..lol
bet for $50,00 you will get a yrs worth of toys dont forget popcycles sticks ,,lol
