We just had these 2 huge birds in our backyard chasing a Crow, but we have never seen them before. :huh:

I rushed inside, grabbed my camera, and got photos
before they took off.

Yeah, they have some look-alikes of a Kookaburra, but they would be easily 6-8 x bigger than a Kookaburra.

I have been looking through photos of Australian birds but am yet to come across it. Mum said it may not even be an Australian bird.

My friend said she gets them there too, she lives about 20 mins away from me, but she couldn't think of the name.

Interesting looking bird. It looks almost like a minuature version of a hornbill. Do you have any hornbills or their relatives in Australia?
