He has this since yesterday afternoon.yesterday evening it was gone.i just woke him up and it is back again.
It seems to bother him.he is wiping his beak at the perches. He is active and eating.
What is wrong?what should i do?

It looks like dried blood but it's hard to tell from the photo.

It isn't blood, just wet. I cleaned his nose with some paper towel and aloe juice.
His nostril is larger but it looks clean and pink on the inside as far as i can see.

It looks like an injury. What happens when you clean it?

here are some better pictures.
first picture is made yesterday afternoon, second picture is from this morning before cleaning, third picture is from today after cleaning it this morning, it still looks the same.
he is also getting some new feathers above his nose, maybe this is irritating him? causing him to rub his nose against the perches?

I doubt he'd rub that hard just for new pins coming in.

Yes, time to take this cutie to the vet. That one side is pretty inflamed.

He may have something lodged inside , like a seed that is causing irritation . Could be a bacterial infection inside the nares. Needs to be looked at by a vet.

Results came back.everything normal.no psittacosis!!
They only have a lot enterobacteria in their poop. Don't understand where this comes from. The also had a bacterial infection 6months ago and where on AB for a while then.
AV thought maybe caused my bacterial growth on sprouted seeds.... Will start new AB cure tomorrow.

This is the main danger when feeding sprouted seed (and the reason I don't) because it's very hard to do grow them without encountering it.
