Thanks to this thread, I am now hooked on Eagle Cam. I'm also hoping Juliet returns. This marks Day 1 of my obsession.

This from NE Florida Live Eagle Cam - American Eagle Foundation
“Juliet was last seen at the nest at 9:30 am on December 17 and has not been spotted since. On the evening of December 18, an unknown female Bald Eagle, entered the nest attempting to take over and assist with the incubation responsibility. The two went back and forth incubating until Romeo seemed to regain control of incubation for the duration of the night. The eggs do not appear to be harmed.”

The SW eagle egg has hatched. Parents are feeding him.
I'm watching right now! Switching between SW eagle and Romeo's cam :D
I'm REALLY hoping Juliet is alright, but from the looks of it, Romeo may pair up with one of the new females.

Yeah, which I thought was pretty interesting. I was unaware that eagles would allow unknown females tend to a nest, but I guess if one of the parent's is missing, they would opt for assistance.

Hope you are feeling better.

They are anticipating that there may be some altercation amongst the 3 possible female suitors. Hope that they don’t attack the nest.
