So many members here have awesome photos of their birds. If anyone here can put together a calender we could submit photos and have a calender made for AA. I have no idea of how to do this but I know there are computer programs out there. Perhaps it could be a marketing idea????

In the past we did it every year and they were beautiful calenders. The one person who did all the hard work and made them, put them on line and we could down load them each month being a different species of parrot and all of them the pets of the members making up the pics. They were beautiful and I still have my old ones somewhere.
Then we could put in our orders for the amount we wanted and pay and have them sent to us in time for the following year. Cannot remember why it stopped, probably we worked the poor girl to death!
Someone will surely come forward and tell you who did it and when soon.

Vistaprint makes beautiful calendars, I have them made every year, and they are extremely reasonably priced and also very easy to make. You do everything online, very very simple, trust me, I am not great with that kind of thing and my calendars look awesome

I had my Xmas cards printed by vista print and they turned out so good.

I'd buy one! A lot here are super amazing photographers. Wish I had 1/10 their skill. And of course there are many beautiful birds here for subjects.

Years ago a friend made me one of my horses. I have no idea who she had do it, but I think it was local as the internet was in it's infancy back then. I hadn't even noticed her sneak out with one of my photo albums to get it done This calender is from 1996 and I still have it because it was such a special and thoughtful gift. I'll keep it forever.

it was fun trying to work out which birds I recognised from their pics on the calenders, and as they were all pics of our collective birds it was great.
I for one would order a Calender and enjoy it once again. Hope it is taken up and done but sorry not much help from me as I am a clutz on the computer at the best of times!

Probably too expensive, but it'd be awesome if we could do one of those calanders that has a picture for every day of the year! That way lots of birdies could be in it

The original calender had a picture for each month but the pictures were beautiful and all our birds were somewhere in one of the months and so tastefully set out, works of art. I am sure it could be done again by someone with talent!

The last time it was done it took off and gathered momentum and was a huge success. Hope it can happen again and there is someone out there able to take it on, I would support it as best I could from over here.

What a wonderful idea! My sister-in-law makes all our families calendars, every year, they are really nice but she does it to make sure everyone knows when any family member is having a birthday. I'll run this idea across her and see what she says!
