Crystal's sweet brother linnes flew up from Florida today to join our flock. Their mom flew up too, to hand deliver them to us!

They are such cuties, and so petite compared to my big and hefty linnies, maybe because they're a color mutation.



They are just a perfect fit for our flock! It's amazing how much synchronicity there is between them and my green boys - a bonded pairs of brothers, most likely close cousins to my boys, and one of each pair is blind with his brother helping him get around.

Hubby had never seen linnies. He started asking questions and I got a lil worried we weren’t going to walk out of there with Angel!

So glad you were able to take them. I can tell you at @Crys12065 ’s they were in a nice large cage, nice home, good foods, very well cared for.

I'd love to see pictures of the turqs (?) with your greens to see the size difference. What do your green boys weigh?

I'm sure! Way back in the day here was a wonderful forum just for linnies, so I've known Crystal and her birds for 9 years now, mostly online, though I did get one of my cats from her mom 7 years ago (he was an outdoor kitty hanging around her house).

I don't know if or when they will ever be close enough to take a photo together! My linnies weigh 70 grams and 63 grams. I think Crystal said Smooches weighs 43 grams and Sampson 53.
