Weird question...

I've been doing research about how animals can detect the paranormal (you know me, researching for my books). I've heard of dogs noticing things but have any of you seen your parrots/birds react to something? They are so smart, I wonder...

Hmmm I've always associated cats with it, not so much birds! I haven't lived anywhere with birds with activity that I'm aware of.

I know the Netflix movie Bird Box sorta touches on it a super tiny bit

I can't say I subscribe to paranormal theories, but I can say there are plenty of times that Cake will start alarm calling and acting paranoid for seemingly no reason. I could spend half an hour scouring the bird room to try to find the cause and never turn anything up.

But yes, Bird Box uses the idea that birds can sense/see things that we cannot.
