We're going to be making an appointment with the vet for Fuzzgig today. He hasn't been eating like normal for over month now. He used to eat one or two worms every week, now I'm lucky if I can get him to eat 1 every 10 days.

This is day 11 of going without food. I've tried for the past three days to get him to eat. He's not just sitting idle, he's actually pushing the food out of his mouth. We're going to get him some crickets this morning, to see if he'll eat those, and then we're calling the vet.

He also doesn't poop like normal. Apparently pacman frogs are supposed to poop once a week, but even from when he was a baby, he went maybe 2 times a month. It's now been a month since he went. That's not normal either.

We think part of it may be the temperature. His tank was getting much colder than it should be, about 15 degrees cooler. We're getting him a second heat pad. I currently have him in front of the heat vent in the bathroom, to keep him at a nice toasty 82 degrees.

I don't know what's going to happen. I'm scared and worried. Please send your good thoughts our way.

We're gonna try moving his tank into a inside wall, closer to the center of the house. It's not much, but I hope it will help. Dad also suggested getting an oil-filled radiator to make the room warmer. I think someone recommended one to me here, I'll have to go digging and try and find it.

Thoughts and prayers that all will be well again soon.
I think most any oil-filled radiator would be safe. I have Delonghis.

Do you have to let them burn off any coating first? Safety first!

I think once his temp is raised he'll be fine. Get a thermometer for his tank and a heat lamp on one end. I always found heat lamps more effective than pads. You can get a thermostat for the lamps/etc to control the heat and keep it consistent.

No experience woth pacman frogs but I do own/have owned other reptiles.

Thanks all for the kind words. We got him some crickets, and at first he just ignored them but soon after he started trying to climb the side of the container like there was no tomorrow. So I took him out, he's back in his container in front of the heat vent.

The to some unforseen circumstances, we aren't going to be able to take him to the vet today. But I think if I keep an eye on him, he'll be fine, at least for today.

Dad is going to move the tank shortly. Hoping it warms up quickly.

We moved his tank over to an inside wall. The temperature is now in the high 70s. We'll be calling the vet today. They're only open until 1pm today, so I don't know if we can get in before the New year.

Vet opens at 8. I have his travel carrier ready. Let's hope they can get us in today. They're closed tomorrow and probably the day after.

Dr. S? Hoping Fuzzgig is okay. I don't know what a pacman frog is but it sounds like a type of tree frog and I love those. Keeping :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:
