Lucy is so wonderful! She's my big example! Unfortunatly i cant get luka to do anything parrotty other then wistle shreekly which result in long nails.. which means the dreaded vet visit is close

But for now we enjoy scritches

I'm so jealous. I would dearly love to put harnesses on my guys but I doubt that will ever happen.

He is the only one I can get in a harness. lol! So don't feel bad.
And thanks! He's has been such a wonderful bird. I couldn't ask for a better parrot, really. He doesn't even mind vet trips. In fact, while the vet was trimming his nails, he was falling asleep and laughing at the dog that was crying. His vet said it made them all laugh.

Isn't that what hair exists for? To nibble on or (in the case of the conures) turn small sections of longer hair into the equivalent of dreadlocks.

I don't know, but I'm relieved that it's not my head he's doing that too! With me he teases it between beak and tongue until I have a knot of hair on the side of my head.

Luka and the little dragons are molding.. not only is the house a mess, their looks are a mess too!
I changed their cages this evening, they can now see eachother
suddenly, there's a lot of noise in the room Luka doesnt seem to be so timid anymore though, which is good
