Thank you all. It was very sad. My heart breaks for my little girl. She loved those littles budgies. It's heart breaking to watch your child cry knowing their is nothing you can do to bring them back.

I guess it could have been the burning trash. Are they allowed to do that?
I have smelled wood burning from my neighbor in the winter as that is from the fireplace.
Luckily no harm has come & wood might not be as bad as plastic burning.

Gosh you had to move next to a trash burning neighbor polluting the air...
Don't they have garbage pick up?
