Bella and I had a 9 1/2 hour drive to NY due to 3 accidents and rush hour traffic. Bella was in her travel cage, with plenty of food, water, and millet and she was so good in the car. She did complain a bit but most of the time, she was looking at the trees and trucks. We got to my Mom's house and she visited with my Mom while I unloaded the car and now she is happily grinding her beak on top of her hotel cage, snuggled with one of her favorite toys.

Thank you! I found out that according to Bella, the pizza is much better here than in PA. Bella isn't really a fan of people food but she practically tried to take the pizza out of my mouth.

Thanks everyone. Actually, when I come here it is to work. I am throwing a Memorial Day party for my family (3 brothers) so today will be spent getting groceries and things I need for the party. Tomorrow is the party and then the rest of the week are chores around the house, like planting the front yard and doing errands. Mom doesn't drive. That is why I can take Bella with me because I spend the majority of time at my Mom's. Bella is currently sitting on my shoulder grinding her little beak off. She loves being here.

So why are the same toys better on the hotel cage than on your real cage? Bella is happily playing on her hotel cage with the exact same toys that she throws to the ground when on top of her real cage. I don't think I will every understand Bella. But I know that she is very happy here.
