Wake Up Call

So not best photo, but moving is a wake up call when one realizes one has 5 large containers of mainly bird toys. Not to mention all of the other items for them. So I have 5 containers the size of the green container...mainly toy parts, but some perches, boings, etc. I need to start pulling stuff out and using it!!! Can't say my birds are deprived....

Ever thought of donating to a rescue? I know there are people at rescues that can make new toys for birds out of new or used parts?

Actually I do donate toys and toy parts

More like a compulsive buyer in search of anything Charlie will like and I seem to put things away and forget about them and order more things.

Far to me. 700 mile move. Experiencing a lot of new. One of first things I did was find a vet and bird sitter. Charlie is especially happy with new digs.

We are thinking of moving possibly soon with all the changes happening here soon with the new laws our crazy Gov wants to start putting in place. I don't know how my babies would take it.

Moving with birds was interesting. Charlie was so confused when the movers took his cage. Max was royally pissed off by the long drive. Charlie was tickled pink when he saw all of the mirrors in the bathroom when we arrived at the new house. He really bonded more with me during the weeklong move process but once his cage arrived he when back to being independent Charlie enjoying his view. Stressful and a lot of considerations about move were to accommodate my boys, but all went well.

I organized my spare room and have enough toys to last my flock a long time so trying not to buy any more. Where did you move to?
