We had a scare at the wildlife rescue a few years ago about this,,,thankfully, it was just a scare..so sad.

Do you live there?
We winter at the Salton Sea, which is right in the middle if it. They just lost over 5,000 Ruddy Ducks and several thousand other birds to Avian Cholrea. It is particularly sad in the case of the Ruddy Ducks as there are only an estimated 100,000 left in the wild in the US.

That's so sad! Those poor ducks :(
