Visiting a new vet tomorrow, nervous

So today I noticed Charlie was puffed up a lot and he began vomiting around 5pm (head bobbing and then heat shaking throwing the puke around) I can't get to his regular vet atm so I called a closer vet we have never been to before. I am hoping they can at least do some tests and maybe send the results back to his normal vet. His appointment is tomorrow at 2:30 pm. Right now he is resting in his cage, taking a nap on his sleeping perch.

Really hoping the doctor is knowledgeable and can help

Get should do gram again to check for yeast. You can ask to look at the slide too. My get said no to looking at slide because he did not want me in his lab. Hope your birds gets better. If yeast is seen i hope vet prescribed Amphoteracin B.

Back from the vet, they didn't do any tests there (which I would have liked) but the doctor noted his crop is quite large and prescribed some antibiotics (baytril) once a day for 5 days. If he doesn't improve I will contact his regular vet.
Atm Charlie has a good appetite, he ate lots after he got home and he's taking a nap now

Yeah, the doctor didn't say he wanted any tests, I wish I had asked but I didn't

Charlie came home today and by 6pm he had eaten his whole bowl of mixed veggies (green peas, carrots, green beans, lima beans and corn) and he ate quite a bit of his evening pellets. No vomiting thankfully

Update on Charlie, he's been on the meds for 3 days now and there haven't been any more
issues. He's acting normally again
