Using emojis when on cell

Its the strangest thing I can use all of them on old cell but on my new cell I can't. I have access to some of them but not all. Its really weird. Like if I doubt tap one of the categories I something get access to more.

Does anyone else have this problem? Its quite possible something I'm doing. It not a big deal I just like using them. Anyone know how to fix it?

Did you switch brands on phones?

I think on some phones you need to turn your phone sideways to access all emojis. That's what I have to do.

Nope both are Samsungs

On my Samsung I can switch between auto rotate screen and portrait option in the settings. You need to have it on auto rotate.
