I just read your entire ordeal. I was glued and praying for a happy ending. With my eyes filled with tears I felt your story. I too just got my first bird only 7 months ago. I also never thought too much of birds as pets but this bird of mine has opened my eyes. I'm totally taken by him. I can almost feel the pain you must be feeling right now. I echo the others in saying you are an amazing person. You will make an amazing avian vet. Maybe this was cashs purpose in life. She knows how much you love her. She's a very beautiful bird. I'm so so very sorry.
