So similar! I’m leaning more towards this mix than Jardines only because of her size. I’ll never know though. Kinda a bummer but either way she is adorable and I feel like I once again managed to hit the Craigslist lottery with Layla and now Mali. Now if I run across another must have I’m linking it to you guys to score. Lol

I am so, so happy for you! She is absolutely gorgeous, and it looks like you two have bonded so much already! What a perfect match, definitely meant to be.

I have to confess, there is a little green cheek conure on Craigslist who I am in love with, and it is taking all of my will power not to go 'stumble' across her.

That's how we ended up with Cisco BFA. She was listed with the cutest little Timneh I've ever seen and I thought for sure we could just place them both. Thankfully the Timneh was placed right away. There were no immediate takers for Cisco and she bonded to me after being in my house for a few days and the rest of that is history. One of the greatest birds ever! I so love her!

You know, I have to admit that some of my greatest birds have come off of CL! Our last purchase came off of CL, a male/female bonded pair of "mini" CAGs who are just adorable. I've been looking for a female for a while and when I saw the pair, I just couldn't say now even though I knew I probably shouldn't. They are just the apple of my eye! Seriously though, NO MORE CL!

Craigslist is evil. Lol. But I rarely see well taken care of and loved birds. I haven’t seen another rose breasted cockatoo rehome anywhere close to our area. I really got lucky when I found her ad. And her old owner and I are still friendly. He loves her very much. Same with little Mali. She was rescued by a sweet bird lover from an owner who wasn’t taking care of her and quickly decided to dump her after they bought her from a breeder. She took her to the vet and got her on a good diet knowing she was going to rehome her because she works a ton of hours. She wanted to keep her but knew it was best to let her go.

I’ve never knew a bird could be so affectionate right off the bat! Day 2 and she’s making regurgitating movements for me. Uhg. Sweet that she likes me because I love her too but I don’t want to encourage that as she matures.
