There must be a better way but I haven't looked.

My Nikon renders these in equisitely sharp detail down to the glint in the eye!

Hmm, good to see the comparison between this and the low light performance. Interesting. I'm looking forward to see how the Nikon does!

Is this the T2i? I've found it to be a major step up in terms of crispness compared to my Nikon D50. I have no regrets switching to Canon... okay, maybe a little guilt. :X

:hehe: traitor!:p
It's the latest model Rebel ...
I'm comparing it to my Nikon D90. Not really fair as the Rebel is a low end DSLR and the D90 is an enthusiast's camera :p

M mode, and meter for your subject not the bright spots :)

In the first photo it looks like it has metered for the rope net rather than for B Scooter, and the rest it has metered for the background ;)

ooo thank you for posting this! Very helpful for me. I looooove the pics my Nikon D80 takes with natural sunlight! However, I am sorely disappointed in my D80's ability to shoot with the built in flash and especially in artificial light. Maybe this is my lack of photographic skill, or the fact that I always shoot in manual mode and I need to use a different setting (or buy an external flash). Have you had this same problems with your Nikon or do you have any tips? I want to get a canon eventually when I have the money.

I couldn't live without my external flash SB600 for the D90!

As for the canon pics, it's all my fault :p i have not bothered to read the manual!

LOL well I'm sure the manual will help. I've done that too ;)

I'll look up that flash...I think I need to come to terms with the fact that I just need to buckle down and buy an external flash.
