... 5 birds now we are keeping a close eye on everyone and using Advantage on all! Glad Tucker is doing better ~
You do know fleas do not get on birds, right?:highfive:

It is a bad season this year. It's the first year I have found fleas on my dogs and cats. I guess alot of rain is the culprit here is all I can think of.

Do you treat your yard? I buy a granule mix from HD or Lowes. It kills fleas, ticks, spiders, ants, grubs etc.

Thanks everyone. I'm not too worried about ticks, we never seem to have time to take him to the dog park and we don't have any trees in the back yard. Thanks for the suggestion of using frontline in addition to the Comfortis. I may end up trying that if needed. I like the idea of Tucker being a Hoover, sucking up those fleas and killing them dead, lol.

Thinking about treating the yard next weekend if we don't have more t-storms. I just worry about the chemicals in the yard since the cats are out a lot of the time as well as Tucker.

May also try the Boric acid and more vacuuming. Is it okay to use on fabric couches and stuff?

Watch the weather forecast and treat the yard at night, let a good rain come and soak it down into the ground.

Just follow the directions and you should be fine. :highfive:

Yes, just be sure to vacuum well. If it were up to me, we would not have carpeting. I am trying my best to absolutely ruin it.

Carole, I'm with you on the carpeting. When I win the lottery I want hardwood floors through out the house.
