Rollerblading along the road
A nice day at the end of February, another trip to the Toronto Zoo! There are exciting things there at the moment, with some super cute high profile baby animals. The baby pandas weren't out on public display yet, but the lion cubs and baby polar bear were both viewable for the first time that weekend.
We'll start out with the charming red tailed black cockatoo:
The tree kangaroo was actually out of her tree this time and moving around, likely for snack time.
Red pandas, nature's answer to the teddy bear.
Snow leopard likes to nap right in front of the viewing window so I could get a nice closeup of her fluffiness.
Who doesn't like an adorable sloth hanging around?
Mama panda may be off exhibit but papa is still out and as cute as ever.
Love the winter coat on this wolf.
The guy handling this hawk had the patience of a saint. "What happened to its eye?" "She got hit by a car, that's why she lives at the zoo now." Five seconds later. "What happened to her eye?"
