Took Birds for Check up (Aly Update too)

Well the check up was supposed to be in three months but since I was concerned I packed them all up and went to the vets. Aly is not overweight, she is at a good weight so Im happy. I got a scale at Walmart to weigh them. So Im happy to announce I was worried for nothing. He said she is a big bird but not over weight.

Boomer bit the vet like 50 times, lol. He put up a big fuss. He bit me like 30 times, he was so bad, having tantrums. He was cracking us up, then he got loose and he would not come to me. Finally after (recall training) I pulled out a raisin and he came to me.

Aly was such a good girl, she just let him do what ever. My vet really liked Aly, she kept saying peek-a-boo to him. And hello and making her helecopter noises.

Now Chiquita, the wiald one, she was down right nuts. Im suprised he didn't have to sedate her. We toweled her. Then she was screaming her bloody head off. She was down right mad, lol.

So I gave my vet a challange. He thought they were all cute and gave them all a clean bill of health, all at good weight, no lumps or bumps and the blood tests should be back in a week. But boy they are nutty birds, what a challange it was. I was glas to get them home.

Thanks, yes, I always get a bit nervous when it's check up day. I know I can't believe it was Aly that was well behaved. She even bent down for the vet to scritch her head.
