Too many broken feathers... need opinions

I did know that this is a old thread and I also read that thread you posted.
I want to know how it is today. Clumsy? Broke any feathers at all since the imping? Good flyer today?

Good flyer, no broken feathers. Still clumsy sometimes but he also acts first thinks later and does not make good flights without calculation. He arches his shoulders a bit more than he should and uses the jump for most of the flight. Overall I think it will correct with time but being without flight for so long he doesn't care to try often.

I would do it again Eloy. It did exactly what I wanted it to do. As another member earlier suggested with pulling them.... He would break new blood feathers. I would never have regrown them that way nor would I want to try as 11 blood feathers bleeding would have killed him. His balance issues were related to the uneven clip and all was fixed from the procedure.
