So while driving home from work. I saw a guy in front of me mow down a bird with his car! He didn't even stop,,,! I saw the bird get hit and stumble , pulled my car over. Stopped traffic , got bird,,,hes an adult whitewing dove...wrapped him in my jacket and got him home.. he has road rash on his bum, his right wing is broken, but not a compound fracture, ..thankfully! Cleaned him up with saline, put silversulfadizine cream on his wounds, gave him metacam and SubQ fluids,,,hes off to Liberty wildlife in the morning,,,what an @$$ this guy! Hope Karma gets him..such a beautiful dove.

I rescued a pigeon today too and I will start a thread about it a little later. Thank goodness the pigeon I found wasn't in as bad shape as yours. I hate that people would intentionally hurt an animal. Makes me sick!
