So glad to hear your vet got it all sorted out.
I have really enjoyed reading this thread with all the stories about things shoved into nostrils :hehe:. My mum has a friend who shoved bits of foam into her nose when she was little, she got a major infection in her sinuses from it a few years later and apparently she smelt rotten. When they were cleaning her nostrils out they pulled out all this rotting moldy snot covered foam which is just nasty, lol.

My favorite TV shows are the real life murder investigations on the ID channel (not sure what that says about me). Anyway I saw a commercial the other day for an upcoming show where a criminal escaped while being transported in a police car. He had somehow put a handcuff key into his sinus cavity, got it out and used it and then smashed out the window of the car with his feet. Jumped through the window and off a bridge. I've been wondering how he got that key all the way up his nose and into his sinus, and then back out again.

They make plastic dental tools that MIGHT work for that purpose with a little reworking and there are all kinds of car tool picks and scrapers that might work as well much cheaper but that is a purpose built SS medical grade tool so they are always expensive.
