My flock loves when they get new loofah toys. I cut them into various sizes, I than color them(use food grade dye) wait for the desired color consistency and let dry, i than thread the various chunks together using either leather or cotton rope. I than put their treats in the loofahs to encourage their interest. Super easy and super affordable.

What a great idea. Personally I would skip the dyes only because Im a poop watcher and I wouldnt want to stress myself out by the random appearance of purple poop. LOL

Their poops really shouldn't be changing color because of toys, unless they ingest the toy pieces... which would be a problem regardless of their coloration.
