Always check your beverage container before drinking. As for having nice things … as they say in Chicago - fuggedaboudit.

However, if you like those fashionable "distressed" things just leave them out for your little darling décor diva to distress for you. I left my purse hanging on the back of a dining room chair. Apparently some of my décor divas found it and I now have a partially distressed shoulder strap.

I now have a specific "bird-friendly" wardrobe that I wear when I'm hanging out with Indie - turns out that chewing holes in shirts is NOT just a moths thing!

They just have to get into everything!!

It's still cheaper than buying the distressed or shabby chic stuff. Just think, you could make a mint of money off old clothes that are in perfect condition. Just let your decor diva have at them, make them "holy", wash and sell in yard sale (or trunk sale if you're in the U.K.).
