the big ones (9 x9 I think they are) the outside cages are about 2' x 2' x 4' tall and these will go up towards the top for them to have a place to sit/nap

am making them their own little hammies for them to sleep in

Aww, aren't the squirrels going on their adventure soon? I guess not before you spoil the little tails off of them

yes they are and moving outside is the first step - they will stay in the outside cages for a week or so and get acclimated and then we open the doors and let them come and go

they will use their cage as their base/nest until they get comfortable and then will stop coming back (usually)

I had one stay in the yard and raise several litters of babies - she would bring them down the tree for us to see and she would show up around 4 pm for a snack every day - if it wasn't out there, she would come to the door looking for it
