Hi! I’m new to the forum, so I apologize if this topic has been covered.
Is a Thermacell mosquito repellant device, used outdoors, safe for my conure? I know their respiratory systems are sensitive. She hates staying inside while we are enjoying ourselves on the deck, but safety first!
Thanks for any facts. I’ve searched the Internet without much luck on Thermacell and bird safety.

Its probably no worse than running a gas stove in the house however, its probably the fumes that keep the mosquitoes away. Just an assumption.
Edit: after reading more i see it uses some kind of chemical. I wouldn’t use one near my birds.
As a matter of fact, i wouldnt want to breath it either.
