The many sounds of Gigi :)

When I took the test online about what kind of bird I was suited for, it turned out to be a Linnie. Lucky me to have made such a great choice! So in the test it says what each species is known for and for a Linnie it says mimicry. Hmm, that's interesting I thought. Now in these 8 months I cannot believe how many different vocalizations Gigi has. She does 4 trick whistles that I taught her, but also a zillion different other noises, from kisses, chirps, lasers, beeps, clicks, squeaks, chortles to regular old contact calls. Right now she is tucked up high in her cage on one foot making constant tiny contented noises that I can't even describe.

Linnies are sweet little birds that really love to be with other Linnies. The two I had bonded from day one.

My husband just walked by and said "Gigi just made a noise like she crumbled parchment paper." lol

You need to make a video and post it.

I would love to make a audio/video but Gigi stops everything when I get near with the cell phone. And her calls (except her contact call) are just too quiet to record from a distance.
