I appreciate the opportunity to wear this Elmo bandaid, the only one I could find in the house.

I am making fun, but this bite wasn't just a bite. This was a lunging bite-and-hang-on bite.
I hesitate to use the word 'attack,'
but it took quite an effort to shake him off. And I even had a glove on!

That's a good one. We have 2 first aid kits. 1 for the birds and 1 for the humans. The bird one is still full. We need to restock the human one quite a bit.

Sometimes when they don't let go you have to pry them off with your other hand.

I've had to pry that beak my hands off before. I think that bite may have required stitches had I not worn the glove. I shall be so glad when these hormones pass. I hope it's hormones and not a new I-hate-you way of life.
