A bit random, but I just had to share the good news!
I just got the results from Asriel's DNA test in an email. He tested negative for both PDD and Chlamydophila.
PLUS... we can say with confidence he is a HE! Both the breeder and I guessed he was male, and I'm very glad that this was the case! Of course I would have loved a female bird all the same, but I had gotten so used to using male pronouns that I didn't know if I could adjust- oops!
I also like the personality of male IRNs a tad more than females? I love that the latter is very cuddly and affectionate, but I also adore the charisma and talkativeness of the males
