its past 2 pm and no signs of nap time. We’ve had a busy morning out sunning and vigorous baths and stuff and they are still playing, except Jackson who is grinding his beak. Do your birds play all day on the weekends?

Pilo has never had a nap during the day! It’s hard enough for me to get him to bed at night! :meh:

No, they are taking several naps during the day. But we have the same routines every day so no changes on weekends.

Mine nap more on weekdays, but this is only because everyone is so busy and noisy on the weekends, they can’t sleep. Everyone but me just left the house, so they all immediately got all cozy and hunkered down for a nice nap. I wish I could join them!

Mine go into their boxes and hang out for several hours in the middle of the day. They are either napping or playing quietly.

I think the tiels all take intermittent naps as do the gccs but I know Tikki doesn't and I'm not sure about the Quakers. They always seem to be on the move.

I finally stuck them in their cages at 3pm and they were yelling to be let out at 5 pm. I did some bird cooking and work work during that time. Thanks all for sharing your flock stories. I find the variations very interesting!

Me too. And it made me ponder - which of my flock decided that *everybody* will nap at 2? And why do they all obey that rule?
Grannybird said we all have to take our nap @ 2 when she does or else she'll chew our tail feathers. :watching:
