Pictures Success - found a standing perch!

Thanks so much to Aleta @Wingdow for helping me and for connecting me to Paulette Parrot Perches And Toys - Crafted Tree Products

I picked up my new applewood stand last weekend and the boys love it. Paulette also threw in some free perches and let us meet Lulu, the beautiful 28 year old Amazon, who graciously said hello to us.

It is 5ft tall with a removeable/changeable top that has a spinner, play ring, toy hangers and treat cup.


I have it right beside their cage while they get used to it but they have been very brave. Eventually it will move to the other side of the room.

It is light enough to move around and comes apart in three pieces to take to the sitter when I have to go to conferences.

That was were Aleta was a big help. I didn't know of any local companies (Ontario) and the U.S prices were tripling costs when you factored in exchange and shipping. Ends up this was just 1/2 an hour off the route to take my neice back to college after her reading week so we made it a girl's road trip.
