Has anyone ever used a sterno around your bird(s)? I'm having a party tomorrow to celebrate my daughters 18th Birthday and debating on a method for keeping food warm. I'm worried that they're not safe (actually probably a no brainer). But I read another forum that said they burn clean, which is hard to believe. Rox won't be anywhere near them. She'll be a few rooms away.

They do emit carbon monoxide fumes.
