My boyfriend went away for the summer and Kylo was all withdrawn. I figured he would come around after he got used to him being away but he never quite did. The minute Boy returned he was back to chatting up a storm, whistling, and farting. He's also back to flying to me and sitting on my (blanket covered) legs while I do work or watch a movie.
I'll never understand it as Boy doesn't really hang out with Kylo much. However I make better progress with Kylo-- the ex-breeder/warehouse bird-- when he's around. The bird doesn't like touching bare skin and he landed on my bare legs the other day! He didn't like it and was very uncomfortable but stayed for a minute before flying off-- and it was all his choice. That's a step in the right direction!
