Sprouting Question

I am a new sprouter and have successfully sprouted a lentil mix (French, Red and Green) and also a mix of millet, quinoa, sesame, and sunflower seeds. A lot of the articles I have read on sprouting say to “harvest” the sprouts by removing the outer hulls. Is this really necessary for feeding my Conure? Obviously the seed mix contains seeds too small to remove hulls. But what about the lentils? Seems it makes sense to remove them when I eat them, but what about my Conure? Thanks in advance to all you sprouting experts!

I am not positive because Buddy's not really eating the beans yet. Still working on it with him. I haven't removed the outside of any sprouts yet. (Not even beans)

I don’t remove any hulls, including lentils when I sprout. Maybe those instructions are for humans?

I don't remove any hulls either. I think parrots enjoy removing the hulls themselves!!:birdance:

I've never removed hulls :) The parrots do that part!
